Mahalo is the Hawaiian word for thanks, and I hear it everywhere!
This afternoon I had some of the best tropical fruits! Mango, pineapple, avocados (these avocados were literally a foot long) and some bananas...a delicious fruit concoction. I also bought an iced tea smoothie. It was a green tea base, ice, frozen mango and some frozen banana. It was light, cold and really hit the spot. The family and I went on a long car tour of the east side of Oahu. We stopped in Waimanolo and went to a beach with white powder-soft sand and water so warm it was not even refreshing. Tomorrow the plan is to rent kayaks and paddle to some smaller rock islands off the coast.

As far as triathlon life goes, I have decided on what my A race will be for next year. I am not going to give it away just yet, but I would like to say many thanks to my Dad and Mom for supporting me not only financially, but in all other ways a person can support and encourage someone. Thanks for allowing me to get this far. Until next time
Emma
