So the trip began at 3:30am and continued with flying until 12 Hawaii time (which is 3 Pacific Time). My sister, my dad and 17 other relatives arrived at our time share rental house on the island of Oahu around 2:30 Since being here I have spent time with relatives, whom of which are all from Los Angeles. It is really nice to be around my family, all of whom I hardly get to visit. It is my grandparents 50th anniversary, so the entire Lujan clan made the expedition.
All of us went on a snorkeling expedition this morning and saw a plethora of fishes as well as 2 huge sea turtles.
The photo was taken my by aunt. This was Hanauma Bay snorkel beach.
There were also some wicked Hawaiian delicacies I have tried. My favorite being Li Hing Mui: dried plums salted with Li Hing powder. It is salty, spicy and sweet all at the same time. Good in small quantities.
