Thanks

Well, as I sit here post-race and glass of red wine in hand, I feel I should get semi serious and do the classic thing to do on such a holiday Sunday and mention a couple things I am thankful for. 1a) My health. Sounds terribly cliche, but honestly there is no way I could pull out the time I managed to today at the Victoria half without the help of my amazing body I am fortunate enough to have. Thanks mom and dad! This also goes for the mind I have... determined, stubborn, yet driven- could be a recipe for disaster, but more often than not helps me through the tougher of times. 1b) All the training partners, coach, room mates, parents, co-workers and sibling that support what I do... for FUN. I believe I could go on much longer here, but I feel I mentioned the crucial ones.

As far as the race goes... well let's just leave it as; I got a long run in. It was a beautiful day to run 21.1km and I am much happier I did that than anything else in the morning of 10/10/10 from 7:30-9.

Now off to cook the remainder of my first Turkey... for those of you who do not know... I recently converted to being a meat eater... So far things are going smoothly :)

Stay Healthy and Happy
